Find fresh fruits and vegetables in your neighborhood.

The Bridgeport Farmers Market Collaborative was established in 2014 and consists of seven independently-operated markets in Bridgeport, CT. Each market shares a common mission to increase access to healthy, local fruits and vegetables for all, regardless of income. The Collaborative meets on a monthly basis to undertake joint programming, fundraising, and marketing in support of member markets.

All markets accept SNAP/EBT, WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks, Bridgeport Bucks, cash, credit, and debit. Markets also operate a SNAP incentive program so that for every $1 in SNAP spent at the market, you can purchase $2 in fresh fruits and vegetables.

St. Vincent’s Farm Stand was started in 2009 with the support of Wholesome Wave to make healthful, locally grown food available to those in the community who need it most as well as its own employees, volunteers, and visitors. The farm stand is an example of St. Vincent’s mission of caring for the community, in particular the poor and vulnerable, and extends the services the hospital provides beyond medical treatment to providing access to healthy food and nutrition education. The farm stand features Cecarelli Farms from Northford, CT, and is located in the Medical Center’s parking lot, easily accessible by public transportation. *Will be closed July 4.

The South End Fresh Market is held in the parking lot of the United Congregational Church of Bridgeport at the corner of State Street and Park Avenue. Serving the South End neighborhood since 2014, we are bringing fresh produce and healthy food options to one of the city’s food deserts.
